Why is it called BBSO?

My company has gone through many changes over the years and one such change was the concept. The struggle that I was always pushing against was the Moments and messages I would send out into the Universe. This has finally evolved from a bracelet company to wearable Talismans. Each one with it's own uniqueness, just like each of us. My company is now called Be Brilliant Society, LLC and will reflect out that kind of positive energy with every Talisman that is created.

I see that the Kindred Moments Talisman contains bee pollen, should I be concerned?

I try and take every precaution I can with these Moments pieces. From trying to not cross contaminate, individually wrapping each Moments piece and keeping the pollen sealed from other Elements that are used in Moments production. With that being said, I am working with several Natural Elements from this Earth and there is bound to be someone who is allergic to something. What is a Talisman?

It is defined as: an object, typically an inscribed ring or stone, that is thought to have magic powers and to bring good luck. A person regarded as representing and inspiring a particular group.

Be Brilliant Moments are encapsulated with precious stones, flowers and elements that for centuries of cultures to promote various energies. What are these Talismans made of other than 'Natural Elements'?

I use UV Resin as the main component that encapsulates everything. Other mediums include, inks, powders (including phosphorescent), precious stones, wire, gold and silver leafing, paper and even things I have found growing in my yard! Why are they not perfectly formed and smooth and seem 'flawed'?

If you are looking for something with perfect edges and flawless to the eye perfection, then BBSO Moments are not for you. All things have flaws if that's what you are looking for. There are cultures where created pieces from artists are intentionally 'flawed' to remind themselves that they are human. I speak of balance when I am taking about life and about my art. An artist tames the medium, but only to a certain point. Otherwise, the Moment might break with the medium or the artist giving too much. I form and touch these pieces thousands maybe millions of times (I don't count) and the piece will say when it is done and ready to be released out into the wild. I want these pieces to have ridges and bumps and smoothness. I find it soothing and very relaxing to hold them in my hands.....a kind of meditation with the Talisman if you will. And when I set them down, they are small encapsulated artwork Moments that I get to enjoy visually. This is what I am sharing with you when you buy one of my Talismans. Enjoy!
