BBSO breathing

Yesterday was my last day in Texas (for now), and what better way to spend it than with time being able to decompress and enjoy some air and water. Was a new adventure for me as I've never been to or seen the Gulf of Mexico. We work really hard mentally and emotionally at my job and these Moments are necessary for us to recharge so our passions stay strong. I love what I do for work, and it pays the bills as well, which is a perk haha!

I got home late last night and between the travel and just being home, it was easy to collapse into my bed and sleep. I committed to myself that if I was going to push forward with BBSO Moments, then I would blog daily. I also know that expecting to do it daily and feeling guilty about it, does me no good and sets me up for thought failure. It was more important to listen to myself in that Moment and decide that posting today was not going to cause the end of the world. Hey, here we are this morning! Go figure!

I am so glad I got the opportunity to see Galveston, TX and I am so glad to be home! I have been thinking about Talismans and creating and inventing new ones while away. What am I saying, it's every day! I left a Talisman unfinished to go on my business trip and as an artist, it's hard when you want to physically create something and you have to wait. Maybe it makes unbelievably better art pieces with the build up or maybe it doesn't. One will never know I suppose.... only thing I do know is if I could take my supplies with me while traveling, I would!
