BBSO Organization

Over the last couple of days I've been home, I have been organizing my workspace. Trying to delineate areas for creation, development and end product. It's both satisfying and rewarding to be able to change my work area. Behind this picture I've posted, is additional storage for tools, dried goods, product packaging and embellishments.

Oh and the plate on the left side of the picture..... Yeah that's the doggo begging for food plate. She is the princess and as her humans we must obey! Haha The box beside it.... Well I've taken it upon myself to feed the local wild life during the winter which includes: squirrels, crows, woodpeckers and hummingbirds. The rabbits enjoyed eating my garden of squash, tomatoes, sweet peas and apples last year.... Which obviously was unintended. As I am a novice food grower, they took advantage. But as I read and inform myself, their days of free range eating will dwindle!

In my past I had decided and established that I was the killer of plants. I'd go to stores and garden centers and was determined that plants shy away from me....'oh no.... Don't pick me!" So I'd take home clearance plants that were basically half dead. And sometimes I could get them past the point of no return and sometimes not. As of now, I have approx 10 houseplants that are surviving....I use the word surviving because sometimes watering is delayed and it's definitely been cold in the room they are housed. But some of these plants know me by now. One of them I've had for over 10 years..... So maybe I'm being too hard on myself and unrealistic when I think I am the Dr. Death of plants!

Basically this blog posting is about how you may think you've got things in life strewn from hell to breakfast, but when you really focus in, you got more shit together than you think! A lot of the blogging I've been doing is also associated with the ideation behind BBSO (Bitch Bracelet Society). The concept is still there.... And I've spoken about it previously in my blog. Bitch as I use it is on the empowerment aspect of said word. It's about owning what's in your life and having a say in how you live. A say in what and who you share things with. About being present in your daily seconds of life. About being fulfilled and joyeous and grateful. For me, I'm finding and embracing that bitch part, the moments part and the creation of my art. Namaste.
